Imlil to Ourika 3 days trekking in the Atlas Mountains is a beautiful multi-day trip to experience the wilderness of the High Atlas and the Berber culture. You will hike through fantastic trek routes across the valleys of the High Atlas Mountains while admiring panoramic views of the Toubkal national park.
We designed our treks to suit those whose primary objective is enjoying in the first place. Hence, our itinerary is light (typically 5-6 hours hike per day max). We also avoid rugged passes, and we usually stay under 3000m. 3-Day Trek from Imlil to Ourika Valley Itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech → Imlil → Tizi Ntamaterte → Tachedirt
After breakfast in Marrakech, we hit the road toward Imlil, the starting point of a beautiful network of walking trails in the Atlas Mountains. We will meet our guides and mules to carry our gear in Imlil. After you are introduced to your guide and all equipment is loaded, we start our hike in the direction of Tizi n’Tamaterte. Our hike will always be eastward, and our path will be through fields of cherry, walnut, and apple trees. We will take a short pause and enjoy the gorgeous Imnane valley behind which Berber Villages are beautifully scattered before continuing for an additional hour trek to Wanskra. We will then carry on with our hike upriver for half an hour or so until we reach Tacheddirt, where we will spend the night.

Day 2 : Tachdirt → Laabbassen → Timichi
We wake up early and bright for our day 2. After breakfast, we prepare for 6-hour hike south-east headed for Timichi Village. As we climb steeply to Tizi n’Tacheddirt, our eyes will simultaneously ponder on the astounding views along the way. Then, we continue a 2-hour hike downhill a rocky pass until reaching Laabbassen village, where we will enjoy some time and leave the wind blow its fresh air into our soul, and enjoy the quietness and the silence of nature. Next, we will go northeast, down the valley, straight to Timichi village, where we will spend the night.

Day 3 : Timichi → Ourika Valley → Marrakech
Our final destination for day 3 is Setti Fadma. We will launch our 4-5h eastward hike after breakfast. On our way to our endpoint, we will pass through a line of Berber villages neighboring the banks of Ourika Valley. The first village to cross will be Tiourdiou, then Anfli, and finally Tadrart. After we have lunch, we will head to Setti Fadma passing Agadir n’Ait Boulmane. After spending some time in Setti Fadma, we head back to Marrakech.
